Petra, Jordan ~ New 7 Wonders of the World

"Petra is a historical and archaeological city in the Jordanian governorate of Ma'an that is known for its rock cut architecture and water conduits system. It is a symbol of Jordan which lies on the slope of Mount Hor in a basin among the mountains which form the eastern flank of Arabah (Wadi Araba), the large valley running from the Dead Sea to the Gulf of Aqaba.

Petra, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1985 was described as a rose-red city half as old as time in a Newdigate Prize-winning sonnet by John William Burgon. Konsert Roket: Destinasi Bintang
Borneo Rainforest, Sunway

Got the ticket for this concert for free thnx to Angah.. thanks sis! =) Anyways, the show was quite entertaining cuma rasa sekejap sgt.. The opening acts - Yazid & Isma sang 1 song each, Sugul by Yazid and a new ballad by Isma. Not really into both of them.. After them both finished their set, the 3 main acts came on stage singing I Gotta Feeling by The Black Eyed Peas. I'm not feeling it tho'. Huhu.

Then we're left with Aril as the 1st main act to perform. I enjoyed his performance of Muse's Starlight, but don't quite get the other 2 new songs he performed. Was looking forward to him singing Menatap Matamu, but all were disappointed.

Next we have Akim. Akim rocked his set with Wali Band's Cari Jodoh. He sang well and grooved to song alright. So did the crowd. His next two songs were his original composition which i think is his next single - Inilah Cinta, and a cover of Lionel Richie's Hello, but done with David Cook's arragement. Not bad at all.

Next we have Hafiz, performing his latest single, Watak, Marc Anthony's My Baby You and Sudirman's Antara Hujan & Airmata. Well, we don't need to be reminded by his vocal awesomeness, but he struggles in getting the 2nd verse cue for Antara Hujan & Airmata. Had to repeat that song 2 times before getting it right. Not that i mind tho', coz it was Hafiz. I couldn't bare if it was Aril. ;p

Then all three of them got back on-stage to sing each other's songs - Hafiz sang Menatap Matamu, Aril sang Bengang, while Akim did Masih Jelas, and all three sang the last chorus to the latter song.

Lokman & Atilia @ No Black Tie

Lokman & Atilia peformed at No Black Tie last month, and i'm extremely glad i made the effort to go after missing the Lokman's first show there.. so yeah, i'm obviously there becoz of Lokman.. not that i don't like Atilia.. it's just that her songs are so monotonous and her vocal chops are not that amazing, unlike Noryn Aziz. Anyways, Lokman opened the show, and he was amazing.. i am extremely proud of him.. he has definitely grown a lot since his OIAM days.. and needless to say, his songwriting skill is great! He sang a lot of his original composition, and we were hooked on the first listen!

Apart from his original songs, some of the covers that he did were Sunday Morning (Maroon 5), Mind Trick (Jamie Cullum), Home (Michael Buble) and a lot more. He sang more than 10 songs i think. So it was a really satisfying show for him. While the singing was great, he really need to improve on his communication skills. He seemed obviously nervous. But the great thing is, once the music was on, you could never notice the nerves! Hopefully he could improve on that with time, and get the opportunity to perform on a bigger stage. Good luck bro! And thanks to NBT for providing the platform to showcase his talent. =)

Now moving on to Atilia. Hmm.. i actually don't quite know what to say about her set. Well, obviously she's an experienced performer, and it really shows by the way she interacts with the crowd.. but the thing is, i did not enjoy her set. The songs was boring. She premiered her latest single, and listening it for the 1st time, i thot there is no way that the song titled Indah could propel her to stardom.. And she could've done better with covers, but she didn't.. and her vocal skills, well they were flawless, but they weren't great.. it was so monotonous.. and i thot i was the only one thinking that way, but my friend Lis who accompanied me to the show also felt the same thing.. gladly, her set was short compared to Lokman.. So that was it. =)

Alibi Cosmic Concert

This Alibi Cosmic Concert was organised by Alibi Music to introduce artistes under their label as well as artistes who distribute their music via Alibi Music like Dayang Nurfaizah.. So some of the artistes performing that night apart from Dayang are Lah Ahmad (formerly of VE), The Fabulous Cats, Ezlynn, Nabis (of Mentor), Marsha, Natasha Hudson, Liyana Jasmay, Awal Ashaari, Han (of OIAM & Bintang RTM), and some unknown acts - Kalysa, Roze, an all-female group called Dynda and more.

The concert was quite entertaining, first and foremost coz their was Dayang who sang a solo version of Sayang, and secondly coz the songs performed that night were mostly sing-a-long and catchy tunes.. but the thing that i was disturbed by was the level of talents that seemingly are just so-so.. only a few of them have seriously good vocal chops (Dayang, Lah & Marsha), the rest are just blah.. artistes like Natasha Hudson, Liyana Jasmay & Awal Ashaari, while they have the package in terms of looks & popularity, they can't really sing.. seriously, come on.. this just gonna worsen our music industry.. i hope the listeners out there can differentiate between just artistes who sings, and serious vocalists who can actually really sing. This is sad.

Wow.. it has been almost a month now since my last entry.. aku pun x tau apsal aku malas sgt nk jot something in this blog.. padahal bnyk je bende2 menarek berlaku dlm hidup aku.. maybe sbb everything dah share kat fesbuk kot.. malas nak tulis2 story kat sini.. huhu.. but still, there is no way i can abandon this blog.. blog ni mmng sgt berjasa pd aku in so many ways that u guys can't believe.. let me just keep that to myself. =)

Anyways, just to share some photos when we had a picnic at Sungai Congkak a couple of weeks back.. i didn't really plan to go there coz i had something on the night before.. some showcase or something which i couldn't remember what.. so of course la balik lewat malam kan.. or pagi.. ;p So that morning mmng aku bgn lewat lah.. Jarr called pun i didn't pick up.. bangun2 ada few missed calls.. it was already 10++ am pun, diorg gerak as early as 8 rasanya.. so i decided to forgo the plan.. skali Jarr call lagi katanya Mop x gerak lagi coz he dia tgh tnggu org siap psng langsir kat rumah dia.. so aku pun call la Mop.. well lucky i called him, coz dia pun x plan nak pegi coz xde geng.. so both of us just decided to go.. dpt mandi sekejap pun ok la.. dah lama pun x mandi air terjun.. bought some chicken wing to BBQ over there, Mop brought some keropok lekor..

So we arrived prbbly close to 1 i think.. so then mandi manda, gosip2, makan2, snappy here n there.. thot we were just gonna be there skejap je coz kitorg pun smpai lambat kan.. tapi bdk2 ni pun lepak sana lama gile.. so w'pun smpai lmbt, puas la dpt mandi air terjun yg airnya sgtla sejuk!! Around 5-6 kot baru gerak.. we decided to stop by at a restaurant on the way back tu and makan sate.. pergghh.. time penat2 pastu pekena sate mmng mahsyukk!!! Marvellous!!

Arrived home around 8 mcm tu.. exhausted but had a really great time!! Glad that Jarr really tried to persuade me to go!

My One n Only CROCS !

I got an invitation to attend Alibi Cosmic Concert @ Wisma Bentley, Damansara last friday.. it's a small concert to showcase Alibi Music's artists.. i went there obviously sbb ada Dayang.. I'll blog on that very2 soon.. but as of now, i wanna write on something else which happens just minutes b4 the show..

Nway, that day aku ambik halfday.. so awal2 lagi aku dah terpacak kat area the curve tu.. saje jalan2 do some 'window' shopping.. aku jarang dtg area tu just for the purpose of shopping.. slalunya gi sbb tgk wayang ke, or karaoke ke apa.. and biasanya berkawan2.. kalau dah jalan kat shopping mall berkawan2 ni, aku x bp selesa bershopping.. if i shop, i shop alone.. malas nk dgr oppinion org on what i shd n shd not buy.. kang i'll have 2nd thots..

Nak dijadikan cite, aku termasuk la this one shopping mall nih.. i didn't know what mall it was by then.. rupanya Ikano Power Centre.. masuk2 je nmpk kedai Crocs.. besar gile.. a fren ckp itu dia pny outlet yg plng besar.. aku pun masuk la tanpa ada apa2 intention pun.. just nak tgk2.. coz i've never been a fan of crocs.. especially kasut yg jenis getah2 yg SEMUA org pakai tu.. aku actually bekenan jgk yg mcm loafers plain kaler coklat n hijau tu.. tp ramai sgt pakai.. so x jadik beli.. so masuk kedai Crocs kat Ikano ni, aku terpandang this one design yg terus captured my eyes.. seriyusly, masuk2 je kedai tu aku terus gi kat kasut tu.. on the 1st try, it fits.. and aku terus gi kaunter bayar, boleh?? This is what it looks like..

I googled the net n it's actually an updated version of the santa cruz pny model.. ala, the loafers-like yg aku mentioned b4 tu.. This is how it looks like on the net..

Aku lupa plak nk tny org situ how many pairs ada, or ramai ke org dah beli this design.. coz i wd prbbly stop wearing it if dah ramai pakai that same design.. huhu.. but as of now, aku satisfied la dgn kasut ni.. sgt selesa.. altho never in a million years would i thought of buying a crocs shoe.. :D

Happy New Year Guys!!

A new year means getting older.. and i don't like that.. huhu.. anyways, life goes on.. i'll try & make sure that i live life to the fullest b4 i settle down (read: getting married and all, if that ever happens.. huhu).. i've got few plans lined up for the year.. and i'm really excited.. some of the things that i look forward to are travelling to Jakarta-Bandung, Phuket-Krabi, Jordan, Tioman Island, hiking Mount Kinabalu and white-water rafting @ Kuala Kubu Baru.. there might just be more.. my parents suggested that we do Umrah sometime this year.. i'm not sure if i'm ready for that yet.. but we'll see..

Anyway, this year's new year 'celebration' was quite fun.. not that we really celebrated literally.. we gathered that nite for dinner at Seoul Garden restaurant in IOI Mall, Puchong, then decided to watch fireworks at Putrajaya..

But the thing is, none of us was really sure if there will be any fireworks there.. if xde pun, we just lepak2 aje lah.. and when we were about to head for Putrajaya, Tapa's car plak tak bleh start.. 3 round jugak la tolak keta trying to get it started.. but unfortunately it won't.. so they decided that we just carry on to Putrajaya & find / buy a jumper later.. luckily this one Esso station ada jual..

It was already 11.45 by then.. which means we're gonna miss the fireworks at P'jy (if there's any).. Luckily for us, on our way tu, dekat Sri Kembangan, we saw some fireworks.. and it turns out that mmng xde pun fireworks kat P'jy.. sib baik dpt la jgk tgk kat Sri Kembangan tu.. huhu.. smpai P'jy, jem le plak.. one of our friend plak hilang.. huhu.. sib baik last2 jmpa.. so lepak2 dpn Palace of Justice, about 2am, masing2 beransur. We did nothing actually, but it was fun just hangin' out & hv a chit chat.. alrite folks.. laterssssss..

Day 3 ~ Ahad, 01.11.09

06.15am : Aku, morph & zante serta fizah & fiz bgn awal pagi gi tgk sunrise kat tanjung rhu. Aktiviti ni xde dlm itenerary, just a spontaneous plan ms kitorg borak2 dlm keta the day b4. Lgpun, i'm pretty sure ramai masih membuta waktu ni..

09.15am : gerak ke gunung mat cincang utk naik cable car. Otw tu singgah kat Petronas Quay, Telaga Harbour Marina ambik gambar berlatarblkngkan kapal2 layar mewah.

10.30am : Perjalanan naik cable car bermula. Kesian wife mukh terpksa menahan fear gayat dia tu.. Dah smpai atas, ms utk snappy2 here & there.

Plng mencabar bagi aku ialah i had to carry anak mukhriz - faheem all the way from the jambatan back to cable car station. Smpai2 tu rs cam nak kena slipped disc dah mcm mak dia.. ehehe.. B4 turun tu ambik group photo ramai2. Ingatkan dah cukup, skali psngan bercinta xde pulok. huhu.

12.00pm : Jalan2 kat Oriental village.. Morph, Selipar, Jarr & Ayu sempat lg main segway. Aku sempat tumpang je.. haha..

01.30pm : Gi makan kat area beras berbakar.. pastu shopping souveniers kat situ & tgk kwsn beras terbakar yg sgt panas tu huhu..

02.30pm : Gi makam mahsuri.. tgk short film, pastu melawat2 kampung mahsuri.

03.30pm : Gerak ke Pekan Kuah utk shopping2..
07.00pm : Selesai segala urusan shopping, kitorg gi makan besar kat Jai Island Cafe.. mmng superb mkn kat sini.. pastu xde la mahal sgt.. kira berbaloi2 la..
10.00pm : Smpai apt.. free n easy. Satu apt aku terus flat mlm tu sbb kepenatan seharian berjalan non-stop.. x terdaya nk layan reggae round 2.. huhu.

Day 4 ~ Isnin, 02.11.09

06.30am : Dikejutkan oleh morph ajak pegi Teluk Datai pulak.. ni pun xde dlm itenerary & aku pun terkejut dikejut oleh mop ajak keluar jalan pagi2.. dah le penat smlm pun x abis lg.. tp mengenangkan bile lg nk ada peluang camni, so aku pun gagah jgk la bangun.
09.30am : Rombongan telah bersiap sedia utk gerak ke Dataran Helang ambik2 gmbr kat situ b4 masing2 bersurai.

10.30am : Selesai ambik2 gambo, gerak ke airport utk hantar some of the group balik.. after bidding farewell to them, the last group consisting of myself, family jarr, emy, selipar & fizah + fiz gi smbung jalan2. Fizah & Fiz gi smbng shopping, whereas the rest of us gi lunch kat pantai chenang then gi sight-seeing.
01.00pm : Gi Laman Padi balik sbb kesian kat Jarr kena tnggl sblm ni.. Syiok gile this time around ambik gambo kat situ sbb kitorg masuk gi blkng.. xde org pun kt situ..

And masa nak keluar tu, baru aku perasan kita lupa nk buat aksi wajib iaitu pose melompat.. w'pun 5-6 org je, buat la jgk sbb dah nama aksi wajib kan..

02.30pm : Jalan2 ambik gambo kat Hutan Lipur Semilang.. dulu nama dia Kg Buku, but since buku2 pun mcm dah xde, that's why dia tukar nama kot.

03.00pm : Since ada bnyk masa lg, and minyak pun ada lg dlm 1 bar stgh, kitorg decide gi airport ikut jalan jauh.. mcm pusing langkwi la..
03.45pm : Singgah kat Petronas Quay tu lg ambik gambo.. x puas2.. ehehe..

04.15pm : Sampai ke airport & check in. Ngam2 smpai tu minyak dah menyala sama mcm ms kitorg dpt kete tu.

05.35pm : Flight take-off. Dlm 1/2 jam b4 smpai tu, sgt heavy cloudy, bergegar flight kitorg..
06.45pm : Touched down. Terlewat sikit becoz of bad weather. Then masing2 bersurai.

Day 1 ~ Jumaat, 30.10.09

11.45am : Myself with Jarr, Ayu, Emy, Fizah & Fiz were the 1st group to arrive at the Langkawi, Airport.. we took our MPVs, settlekan payment dgn agen then uruskan island hopping nye hal.

01.00pm : Fetched Maly & Izuliana at the jetty, then checked-in at out apt.
02.30pm : Went for lunch kat airport, smbil tnggu rombongan Morph & Dhira, Khalid & Mohamad and Asrol & Su.
03.30pm : Rombongan yg baru tiba gi lunch & check in apt, myself & Jarr gi round Pekan Kuah sambil tnggu Tapa who is supposed to arrive at 5pm. Sekali dia miss flight daa.. so dia ambik the next flight sama ngan Ain.. so aku n Jarr went back to our apt.
05.00pm : Free n easy.. Aku gi mandi kat swimming pool ngan Jarr, Asrol, Maly & khalid. The rest menidor agaknya.

06.30pm : The entire rombongan went out to fetch Ain & her sis and also Tapa. Then str8 gi kedai mkn yg berhampiran for dinner smbil tnggu the nxt group - Mukh's family, Miey_Z's family and Aizat & fiancee who were supposed to arrive at 10.15. Skali flight diorg delay 1/2 jam daa..

1st nite dinner @ Langkawi.

While waiting for dinner, some of us went snappy here & there at a nearby roundabout.. ada this interesting scuplture mcm stonehenge plk..

10.00pm : Sambil tnggu kedtgan mukh & the geng, kitorg gi jalan2 shopping brng2 yg x cukup ataupun tertinggal mcm selipar, sunblock, topi, shorts, kudap-kudapn dsb.
11.00pm : Mukh & the geng sampai. Then str8 to apt & rest for aktiviti keesokan harinya.

Day 2 ~ Sabtu, 31.10.09

08.30am : Ahli rombngn turun breakfast smbil tnggu semua rakan2 siap.
09.30am : Gerak to jeti berdktan dgn Awanta Porto Malai. Perjalanan sedikit tertunda sbb flight Shima yg supposed to arrive at 8.30am got delayed.

04.00pm : Arrived at the apt, then rest2 for the nxt activity. During free & easy time ni ada yg gi berenang kat pool, ada yg main pool, ada yg berdengkur & sbgnya.
06.30pm : Keluar jalan2 sight-seeing & window shopping spnjng Pantai Chenang including a group shot at Laman Padi.

Qubica AMF Bowling World Cup 2009

Yesterday, me & Emy went to Melaka International Bowling Centre (MIBC) located at the Melaka International Trade Centre (MITC) to watch the 45th edition of Bowling World Cup for 2009.. it was so much fun!! Much more exciting coz our local heroine - Siti Safiyah Amirah performed exceptionally well during the quarter finals. By end of the round robin, she placed 2nd behind Caroline Lagrange from Canada to advance to the stepladder finals, meeting Zara Giles (formerly known as Zara Glover) from England. Our male representative - Zulmazran Zulkifli wasn't so lucky, just placing 6th overall & missed the chance to advance in the semis.

So in the female stepladder finals, Safiyah unfortunately lost narrowly to the much more experienced Zara.. so Zara was the one to advance to the finals booking a chance to meet Caroline who eventually won the competition.. it was really nervewrecking watching Zara-Safiyah's match.. Safiyah easily went down in the 1st game, but bounced back in the 2nd game with 5 consecutive strikes towards the end.. However, Zara was luckier.. she also had 5 consecutive strikes but had a clean game, whilst Safiyah opened if i'm not mistaken in the 1st frame due to a split.. well, no luck this time.. it's ok coz she's still young & have a looong way to go.

Cuci The Muzikal

Olla guys!! I'm baacckkkk!!! Phew.. it has been like ages since i last updated this blog.. it's been almost 2 months.. the last entry was masa bulan pose.. and fyi, right after raya, aku dilanda kebizian yg amat sgt.. prbbly the busiest i hv been as a student plus working at the same time.. there's this programme that i'm coordinating which is a pioneer project which took a lot of my time.. pastu ada exam pulak with all the questions to prepare, nk vetting some more.. then i had to meet the deadline to submit my thesis.. pastu ada UniKL convocation pulak.. then after that thesis submission, ada one week trip pulak ke Langkawi (which i will blog about that later).. balik from Lngkwi, nak kena submit the corrected version which i had to go back & forth to my supervisor.. but now, Alhamdulillah everything turned out fine & now I'm MERDEKA!! This thing i'm most happy about is finally I'm done with my masters which took me like forever.. huhu.. Anyway guys, a day after i came back from Langkawi, my friend Imtiaz brought me to Cuci The Muzikal.. w'pun penat br balik dr Lngkwi, aku gagahkan diri jgk pegi coz i know, anything with Afdlin in it usually doesn't dissappoint.. and yes, it was spectacular!!

It was an awesome production.. The ensemble was amazing.. it's like the dialogues tu mcm wasn't scripted.. mcm everything that came out of their mouths tu is like spontaneous aje.. very natural.. the jokes sgt menjadik.. the music was quite good too.. except for i think two mushy2 songs which were quite boring.. one involving Vanida & her dad.. and the other one involving Vanida and Hans.. i can bear the Vanida-Hans scene+song, but the scene where V sang with her dad tu mcm kena cut aje if ada rerun.. the scene was really irrelevant.. kalau xde pun x mencacatkan jalan cite..

Overall, production ni sgt menghiburkan.. with minimul props, the casts brought the story to life.. tak payah nak set yg enormous bagai.. cukup dgn acting, dancing & jokes yg menjadi.. masa 2 jam lebih in IB tak terasa sgt pun.. coz we really enjoyed the show.. sape2 yg terlepas tu mmng rugi.. pray for a rerun ye guys.. coz it's really an awesome production.. peace out!

Tiba Di Kampung Halaman!! =)

Alhamdulillah, smlm slmt smpai Penang around 1pm. We departed from Puchong at 7 am, then singgah sejam kt rumah sedara kt rawang. which means we spent 5 hours on the road. Ok la, xde la lama sgt. Jam pun only at certain areas.

Hari ni tolong mak buat ketupat pulut atau nama lain dia ketupat daun palas.

Malam kang last bukak pose my mum msk gado2 & bubur lambuk. Esok after solat raya, our family lepak rumah tnggu sedara mara dtg mkn tgh hr. Sebelum2 ni masa arwah nenek ada lg, biasanya pagi raya pertama kitorg akan ke Teluk Kumbar gather kat sana. But since arwah nenek meninggal last yr, arwah datuk mmng dah lama xde, so our house la jadik tmpt berkumpul. After selesai gath kat sini, we'll be heading to Alor Setar plak kg belah mak.

Anyways, this was my last time bukak pose kat KL this year.. at Chilli's.

Charity Drive ~ 15-17 Sept 09

For the past 3 days, we did a charity drive around KL. charity drive ni was inspired by Oprah's Big Give. kitorg berhempas pulas carik donation, then beli barang2 keperluan, pastu gi pusat zakat mintak address mereka2 yg betul2 fakir miskin, pastu dlm 3 hari ni kitorg round KL smpaikan sumbangan.

Ni antara brng2 yg berjaya dikumpul.

Ni rumah pertama yg kami pegi.. pakcik tu ada sakit TB.. so wife dia aje yg keje. diorg ddk rumah flat kecik aje.. tingkat 4 pulak tu. sewa rumah 380, dpt bantuan dlm 350 aje.. kena tnggung 2 anak lg tgh bljr kat kolej & U.. another 3 kecik2 lagi.

Berhempas pulas aku mengangkut beras & sabun basuh naik tingkat 4!

Ni rumah ke2 kitorg singgah. Akak ni ibu tunggal. Dah bercerai 7 tahun, and sejak tu bekas suami dia x penah jenguk, apa lagi nak bagi nafkhah.

Haa.. ni rumah paling mencabar. Dkt area Gombak.. rumah dia paling tinggi kat situ.. atas bukit yg sgt tinggi gile.. Bayangkan aku terpaksa angkut 2 kampit beras, 10kg each naik smpai atas!

Dlm bandar KL nih, pecaya tak ada lagi family yg ddk dlm rumah yg mcm ni. Nak carik alamat pun sikit pny susah.

Alhamdulillah, anak2 dia semua bijak2 belaka.

Satu lg rumah yg sgt dhaif.

Overall, ini mmng satu pengalaman yg sgt menginsafkan. Tak sangka dlm KL ni masih ada mereka yg sgt2 susah. We shed a few tears along the way. It's a very humbling experience.. Hopefully next2 year dpt buat lg, insyaAllah. w'pun sumbangan x bnyk mcm Oprah's Big Give tu, at least harapnya dpt la ceriakan sikit hidup diorg nak sambut raya nih insyaAllah.

Weekend's Break Fast & Movies
05 & 06th Sept 09

I had a blast over the weekend.. Hari sabtu lps, Im ajak buka pose kat umah dia. Dia ngan bini dia nak masak kat umah. so aku & Mia gi lepak umah dia awal sikit tolong2 apa yg patut. Mia masak sayur. Im masak ayam halia & sambal udang. Bayu msk sambal udang. Aku beli air tebu je.. haha.. sori la kngkwn, aku mmng x pndai masak sjk azali lg.. haha

Dah abis bukak pose, solat apa semua, layan DVD cite Strike. Pastu makan dessert banana split. The girls nak buat kek caramel plak. Us boys tgk je lah & makan.

Around 11 camtu, kitorg gi Jalan TAR. Aku festaim gi sana mlm2 di bulan pose camni. Gile meriah & ramai gile manusia!! Terbeli la pulak baju melayu kat sana.. Aku mulanya x plan nak beli baju melayu pun, dah 3-4 thn aku recycle aje. Tp this yr kena bertema plak.. kaler oren..

so nak tak nak, kena gak la beli bj melayu.. olen karer.. this is how it looks like. simple aje.

Around 1 am, kitorg balik. Waktu tu masih ramai lg kat Jln TAR tuh. Smpai rumah Im, mmng dah x larat dah nk drive balik. So diorg ajak overnight, and sahur skali. Mia layan Bride Wars pulak, aku after 10 minutes mmng lena terus. 4.30am, aku bangun kejutkan the girls suruh masak sahur.. haha. Panaskan ayam halia, pastu masak telur dadar + sardin. Selesai solat subuh, sambung tido smpai kul 12. =)

Then hantar Mia balik rumah. Sambung tido & rehat, dlm kul 4.30 tu four of us jmpa balik kat Sunway. Bukak pose kat Hartz Chicken plak. Smpt agik kitorg main archade games & archery to kill the time sementara nk tnggu waktu berbuka. Dah abis buka & solat, kitorg layan Final Destination 4 plak.

Plannya nk tgk 3D nye version, tp sold out. Anyway, the movie is sick!! Totally sick!! mmng gile betul lah.. Si Bayu pny la takut smpai x berani nk tgk.. After the 1st death, kepala dia terus letak kat bwh ketiak laki dia je for the entire movie..! Could'nt imagine how it'll be like yg 3D nye version. Sure horror gile.

So dah abis layan muvie, terus balik. And today after sahur & solat, aku terus terbongkang smpai kul 12. =)

Sept 1st bukak pose kat Marriott dgn geng2 doctor.. As grand as it sound, actually it's not. Patutpun murah. RM62/pax. The stall area quite sempit. Pastu makanan dia xde la best mana. being a lamb fan, kambing dia sgt dissappointing la .. This is how it looks like.

So guys, sape2 ada cadang nak go for their ramadhan buffet, just reconsider again. For me it's not worth it la altho it's quite cheap. Tp kalau yg jenis main belasah je, then ok la kot mcm kwn aku sorg tu. Bg dia ok je semua.. siap tambah beround2 lagi.. But for most of us, it's like indah khabar dr rupa.. Kwn aku sorg tu x abes2 komplen food dia masin.. huhu.

Then smlm bukak pose kat Flaming Steamboat, Sunway. Sgt seronok ok! The food ok la, not bad. Aku actually x bape minat steamboat sebenonya, lg best kat BBQ Land tu.. sbb aku lg suka makan yg bakar2 drp steamboat.. tp dia pny lobster mmng lazat.. walaupun kurus2.. pelik betul bdk2 ni semua x makan.. ruginya gile.. Kita setel everything kat situ pukul 9! mmng betul2 melantak la.. Dah abis melantak kat situ, sambung kat mamak sebelah pekena air kopi.

Jalan2 Cari Makan & Buku di Singapura Pt 2

Ibis Hotel.. not iblis! :p

Before memulakan kerja jalan2 cari makan & buku di S'pore, kita posing dulu!! :p So this is where we stayed kat sana - Ibis Hotel. Pelik kan nama tu?? Skali pandang, mcm iblis hotel plak.. haha.. anyway, Ibis actually stands for i believe in service. The room is very nice la.. sgt simple but very cozy & uniquely designed. So after dah brekfas apa semua, we started our book selection @ Taylor & Francis. Lama jgk kat situ. Then we went for lunch @ Royal Plaza Hotel which is owned by Sultan Brunei. Sgt best gile makan kat sini.. variety of foods and yummylicious too.. These are some of the foods that i took..

Dah abis lunch kat situ, we went sight-seeing dkt area Geylang kot kalau x salah.. kat situ la letaknya Sentosa Island.. we just passed by aje, x sempat lah nak jalan2 kat Sentosa Island this time around.. we went there pun on work trip.. so most of our day-time are fully occupied.. next time lah insyaAllah.

Our next stop was Dorothy's bookshop. We had the best time selecting books at her place.. not only does she provide the nicest hospitality, but her place is so cosy, and all the books there are medical-related, so it made our job very easy.

So that was our last stop. After that, free & easy session. =) The girls went to Arab Street looking for kain2 utk buat baju raya.. I went jalan2 sorang2 around town doing some sight-seeing..

Then at night, we went jalan2 at Bugis Village. One of the interesting place there was Bugis Street. Kalau kat Malaysia tu, dia mcm Burmah Road la kat Penang.

Masa tu i have around S$20 left kot in my wallet.. so i looked for things costing around that much to spend.. i found this bermuda short worth S$15 and 1 S'pore short worth S$10 for 3 pieces. So we decided to share the t-shirts among 3 of us.. i bought a ring worth S$1, which means i have only S$1 left in my wallet.. haha..!

The next day was our travelling day back to KL. Our flight is at 8.35am, so we drove to Changi Airport as early as 6.30am. So there, my Jalan2 Cari Makan & Buku trip in S'pore.. yg paling kelakarnya, licin habis duit S$ spend kat sana, tinggal S$ aje bawak balik Mesia.. kalau convert to RM to dpt la dlm 2.50. :p

So continue my entry of 1 week full of jalan2.. lepas aje 4 hari di KK, balik2 tu sampai2 aje kat KLIA, terus ambik limo cab to LCCT plak.. owh b4 that, exchange duit dulu.. aku tukar RM500 aje.. dpt la dlm $200 duit S'pore.. ciput je kan?? takpelah.. aku pikir bkn bnyk pun aku nk belanja kat sana.. lgpun duit pun dah bnyk hbs utk trip KK.. almost 1k jugak la.. huhu.. so duit tu just utk duit makan n shopping sikit2 la mcm souveniers ke apa.. i thought that was enough!! but oh boy, how wrong was i.. huhu..

Anyways, aku smpai Changi Airport around 10pm.. then ambik cab to Ibis Hotel.. mlm tu terus tido kepenatan.. huhu.. the next morning, our first stop was John Wiley & Sons pny warehouse.. oh btw, lupa nak mention our purpose gi S'pore is actually utk carik buku.. yup, looking for books smpai ke S'pore..! and we're not talking about 10 or 50 books.. we're talking bout plenty & plenty of books worth 250K alrite!! hehe.. Anyways, dah abis kat Jon Wiley's we went for lunch at Raffles Marina - an Indian Restaurant just by the jetty.. these are our foods..

Dah abis lunch, sambung jalan2 carik buku.. our next stop was Mc-Graw Hill's and Elsevier's. Pastu abis aktiviti jalan2 cari buku for that day. Fyi, it was my 1st day carik buku, but for them, it was the 2nd day. hari yg aku smpai malam tu, diorg actually dah smpai waktu pagi, aku je lmbt sikit sbb dr KK. Anyways, mlmnya kitorg menjalankan aktiviti shopping.. mula2 ingat nak beli souveniers aje, skali terlekat plak kat perfume section dia.. huhu.. terembat la pulak 2 botol.. rugi x beli sbb 1 botol tu cost u roughly around S$50 je.. kalau convert duit mesia, baru RM100++.. kalau beli dua botol, lagi la murah.. nak tak nak, terpaksa jgk beli.. huhu.. then as i was about to pay, ternampak pulak jersey section ada jersey baru MU tuh.. aduss.. tergoda la plak.. pikir2 rugi kalau x beli coz it only costs around S$70, kalau convert to RM baru 175. Relatively cheap la kan?? At the end of the night, almost licin dah SG Dollar dlm wallet aku.. huhu..

Nasib baik la makan tgh hari sume sponsored. So aku just spare few dollars utk dinner mlm tu & the next day plus kalau ada emergency ke apa. So we call it off a night right there. Part 2 to be continued. =)

Saturday Nite Live with Amylea
08.08.09, Studio Cafe, Wangsa Maju, KL

A selingan entry before i continue with the S'pore trip entry.. this Saturday Nite Live with Amylea at Studio Cafe was held 1 day after i came back from S'pore.. i inititially thought the show was gonna be on Sunday.. rupa2nya hari Sabtu.. dah le that Saturday morning tu ada Paintball BT Big Game yg amat memenatkan!! huhu.. nasib baik Lan text msg reminding me about the show.. w'pun kepenatan, aku gagah jugak la pegi coz jarang2 dpt tgk Amylea perform on a stage just by her own.. so this is an opportunity not to be missed..

Btw, sorry for the blurry photos.. we were seated quite far from the stage.. so these are the best shot that i managed to get..

Show ni dibuat ala2 santai2 je.. accompanied by her own guitarist, Amylea belted out some of her favourite songs as well as current hits in her own version.. Among the songs that she performed were Aku Skandal (Hujan), Poker Face (Lady Gaga), The Climb (Miley Cyrus), Love Fool (The Cardigans), Satu Dalam Sejuta (her own composition which she sang on OIAM), Akan Tiba (Aliff Satar - composed by herself) and lots more.. suffice to say, Amylea was amazing.. every song she sang she made it her own.. that's what i like most bout her.. i really hope our music industry would open up more doors for Amylea.. she is way too underrated.. good luck girl. =)

Trip To Sabah Part II

~ Day 3 : Mount Kinabalu Garden, Poring, Kundasang, KK ~

Our day 2 starts very early.. asalnya plan nak gerak at 7 am.. tp masing2 bangun lambat.. almaklumlah, kepenatan bersnorkel hari seblomnya.. so around 8 baru semua ready to go..

Aku sebenonya kompius sikit nama tempat2 kat sini.. we went to so many places that i don't really know which part is Kundasang, which is Poring.. haha.. anyways, we had a lot of fun here.. altho nak sampai ke sana tu punya la lama.. approximately 2 hours beb! Itu x termasuk lagi jalan dia yg berliku2 lagi.. huhu

Anyways, kat Mount Kinabalu Botanical Garden ni mmng sangat cantiklah.. mmng best lah esp for kaki2 gambar and photographers..

Ada hot spring jgk kat situ but we chose not to mandi2 kat situ sbb cam ramai org, instead kitorg trekking sampai ke air terjun kipungit.. bnyk lagi tempat best2 kat situ mcm canopy walkway, butterfly garden.. tp kitorg x sempat nak lawat semua tempat.. the garden is huge, and we might need 2 days to explore the whole place!

Dah puas kat Kundasang, we went back to KK.. going back seems to take such a longer time.. dlm 7 lebih br smpai our apartment.. then bersiap2 for dinner.. we went to a nearby seafood restaurant and it was packed with so many ppl.. we decided to wait smpai ada kosong.. and the wait was totally worth it.. seriyusly the food mmng heaven!!

The next day, dah siap2 brekfes apa semua kitorg round2 town KK looking for souveniers.. mmg rambang mata betul tgk all those pearls and kraftangan yg sgt menarik.. we found this apek pnya kedai yg jual far cheaper than other kedai.. so we spent most of our time kat kedai dia aje..

So dah abis shopping2, packing2 then gerak ke Airport KK.. we arrived at KLIA around 6 pm.. Diorg lepak2 dulu makan dsb, aku plak kena rushing ke LCCT coz i need to fly to S'pore plak for a work trip.. will blog on that later plak.. anyways, this trip mmng sangat2 fun.. altho' 4 days kat sana mmng x cukup.. next time at KK, we'll be hiking mount kinabalu plak.. ciow!

Trip To Sabah Part I

~ KLIA - KK - Manukan - Sapi Island ~

Day 1 : KLIA --> KK

I've been really2 bz this past few days after balik from KK & S'pore that i just haven't had time to update this blog.. ini pun actually still bz coz we're having an internal audit next week, but i've become muak with all those documents & printing stuffs that i just had to do something else.. so this is part 1 entry of my vacation trip to KK.. there were about 20 of us & we had lotsa fun!! 4 days in Sabah is obviously not enough!! there's so many places to visit, yet so little time.. we departed from KL via MAS Airlines on August 1st, at 3.30 pm.. arrived at KK around 6 then straight to our apartment, Marina Court..

So malam tu kitorg jalan2 kat waterfront, then jalan2 dkt pasar malam & had dinner kat situ.. there were like plenty of fresh seafood to choose from.. the squids were gigantic! and not to forget, dia pny chicken wing mmng marvellous!!

After dinner, lepak2 kat waterfront usha2 awek2 sabah.. :p Then lepak kat one of the nightclubs there - BED.. band dia lead by 3 female vocalists yg hot2 mmng superb.. plng best masa diorg bawak lagu When I Grow Up.. mahsyuk gile.. So that's the end of day 1 in KK.

Our day 2 starts with breakfast nasik lemak beli kat bawah.. then gi Jesselton Point.. macam jeti la.. from there, ada boat bawak kitorg ke Manukan Island..

On the way ke Manukan Island tu mmng seriously mencabar sungguh.. it started to rain, mula2 renyai2 aje.. tetiba hujan turun dgn lebatnya.. kitorg plak melawan arus.. so u can imagine the ombak mmng sgt kuat and we were like melambung up & down.. one of the girls menjerit2 ketakutan.. bkn stakat menjerit, siap menangis lagi.. haha.. by the time smpai ke Manukan, bontot aku yg nipis ni dah kejang dah!

The fishes here are very pretty.. but the chorals not so.. cantik lagi dekat Sipadan.. but then to compare dgn Sipadan which is one of the top 10 most beautiful diving site in the world mmng unfair lah kan.. nothing can top Sipadan.. but still, Manukan is beautiful also.. lagipun, waktu tu baru lepas hujan.. so condition laut tak berapa best utk snorkel.. we still had a great time tho' at Manukan..

After around 2 hours at Manukan, we left for Sapi.. kat Sapi kitorg mandi laut light2 aje.. the chorals & fishes at Sapi are actually more beautiful than Manukan.. even the beach.. but we're already tired by then, so kbnykannya main posing2 aje kat sana sambil menjamu mata.. =)

Sampai KK around 6 or 7 like that.. us boys sambung mandi kat swimming pool apartment. plak. the girls pegi pasar beli bahan2 utk masak for dinner plak.. so malamnya kitorg makan kat apartment hasil air tangan the girls.. not bad jugak.. pandai diorg masak! But then, kalau dah penat tu apa pun belasah je kan! :p After dinner, masing2 mmng kepenatan so most of us after lepak2 tgk TV tu semuanya terus berdengkur.. esok nak bangun awal lagi nak gi Kundasang plak.. so stay tuned for Part 2 in Sabah. =)

Dinner @ BBQ Land

Ni sebenarnya dah few weeks back.. We went there kalau x salah 26hb lepas kot.. Don yg arrange everything.. kitorg dtg bayar & melantak aje.. hehee.. so kalau sape2 yg teringin tu, price dia RM18 for adults and RM8 for children.. FOC utk yg5 years and below.. i would say it's totally worth it la.. mmng mahsyuk esp daging dia yg sungguh lembut & enak dimakan tuh.. happy dining! =)

Anyways, aku pun dah lama x layan show Zahid, so aku pun on aje bila ada member ajak. tambah2 ada kawan2 yg dah lama gile tak jumpa pun nak dtg.. so pedulikkan aje kepenatan itu.. mmng not wasted la sbb makanan sedap gile.. pastu Zahid pun as we all know, he's a good entertainer.. a good & versatile singer as well.. so even if you're not a fan, it's almost sure you're gonna enjoy his show, fan or not..

So macam2 lah lagu yg dia perform.. some familiar tunes like Biarlah Bulan Bicara (Broery Marantika), Cek Mek Molek (M Daud Kilau).. English covers like Just Once (James Ingram) & I'm Yours (Jason Mraz) - yg complete dgn lenggok Melayu dia which was really funny.. pastu some old tunes like Camelia (Sweet Charity), an Indonesian cover - Selalu Mengalah (Seventeen) as well as his own song (Secukup Rasa)..

He also invited his friends from AF - Yazer & Hazama to join him perform on stage with covers of M.Nasir, Search, Ramli Sarip & banyak lagi.. mmng bnyk sgt lagu diorg nynyi masa i lost count already.. Hazama got the crowd going wild with his imitations of popular singers mlm Ramli Sarip & Saleem.. but wasn't so much into this segment coz Hazama plak yg banyak nynyi.. dah jdk mcm concert dia plak.. never been a fan of his..

So basically it was an entertaining show.. a plus point, the food was good.. so guys, head over to Studio Cafe and taste some delicious cuisines from traditional as well as western food there.. i'm pretty sure i'll be there again.. there'll be Amylea gracing the cafe on the 8th.. i might turn up for that as well..

Naik bas dr pintu masuk ke Paintvalley

Last week pny cite nih.. tp still hot.. hehe.. kat facebook tuh, masih hangat lagi kitorg dok bercerita pasal game hari tuh.. mmng syiok gile aa.. one of the best games we've played.. THE best is still our game last month at the same venue sempena World Paintball Anniversary.. yg tu mmng gempak gile la.. main ngan profesional.. rs cam dlm perang betul lah! =)

Anyway, game ni pun best gak.. tak seramai yg last month pny, but still we had loads of fun.. aku cam biasa la, disebabkan saiz & kepantasanku (serta keberanianku! :p), aku biasanya akan diletakkan as forward.. ultimately aku la yg akhirnya kena fulfill the mission, raise the flag ke, bunyikan hon ke or any missions lah.. ada yg aku berjaya laksanakan dgn jayanya, ada yg fail gak.. hehe.. u can't always win kan.. :p

For our 1st game tu mmng aku kena kicap habis la.. masa dah reach fort to raise our flag tu, bertalu2 aku kena tembak.. actually mmng dah prepare kena zass.. sbb for sure bila dah smpai situ konfem kena tembak.. yg aku hangennya, after aku dh kena tembk tu, dah surrendur pun angkat tangan & senapang, diorg still dok tembak aku.. hampeh tol team lawan kitorg .. newbies la tu.. siot btol.. aku kira2 ada la dlm 4, 5 kesan lebam kot kena waktu tu aje.. huhu..

Kalau sape2 interested nk join gak, leh browse website nih. BT Big Game.

Rock With Dayang
Hard Rock Cafe, KL ~ 19.07.09

As usual, Dayang rocked the house big time..!! The show was held to celebrate her birthday which falls on July 20th.. mmng every year Dayang akan buat show for her fans sempena her b'day.. dah masuk tahun ke7 dah.. but this year is a bit different.. usually buat kat Planet Hollywood, this year buat kat Hard Rock Cafe coz Planet Hollywood tgh under construction.. anyways, the vibe is still the same.. and actually, mcm lg best plak buat kat Hard Rock coz we were all standing in front of the stage dancing all nite long to Dayang's tunes.. so lg happening kot!!

Dayang opened the show with a medley of Beyonce's current hit - Single Ladies & Halo much to the delight of the fans.. peminat2 Dayang mmng suka Dayang nynyi lagu Beyonce.. coz Beyonce's songs always fit Dayang to a T. Tak pecaya, tgk video clip yg aku record ni.

Next, she performed songs from her DSK album - Kau Pergi Jua and Aku Rindu Aku Jemu.. Next was a segment of oldies where Dayang covered sings from Stevie Wonder (Overjoyed, Ribbon In The Sky), Elton John (Your Song, Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word) and Marvin Gaye (What's Goin' On).

Dayang also performed more current hits such as Home (Michael Buble), You Don't Know My Name (Alicia Keys) and My Boo (Alicia Keys & Usher).. After singer her latest singles - Pulang & Luka, Dayang paid tribute to the great music icon - Michael Jackson with his songs You Are Not Alone and Rock With You..

Dayang also paid tribute to our own musical geniuses who had a big influence in her music career - Sheila Majid & P.Ramlee with Lagenda and Jeritan Batinku.. Dayang closed the show with a reggae version of Dayang Sayang Kamu.

Overall, it was an extremely satisfying show. I had fun and i beleived the rest of the fans also had fun too. See y'all next year. =)

[Movie Review] Setem
Rate: Fantabulous!!

Ok now, here's a lil' bit of review of the film.. not really a review la, but more of my personal comments on it.. u can find lotsa review links here at Ajami's blog.. most of them are positive reviews.. just like mine! =)

Main characters - Rashidi Ishak (Sid) & Afdlin Shauki (Joe)

Ok to tell u the truth, aku ni bukanlah peminat filem2 komedi.. especially physical comedy.. i don't really watch comedies at the cinemas.. kalau local nye comedy, i only watch Afdlin's movies.. kalau international, tunggu DVD ajelah or tgk bila keluar kat Astro.. :p So i wasn't expecting much of the movie.. heck, I didn't even know anything about the movie and who are the casts and director when Bro Ajami invited me to attend the preview..!

Afdlin kena kurung dlm bone by Brot Palarae (Burn) & Shidi (Sid)

So I was surprised that the movie was directed by Kabir Bhatia who used to direct melancholic & drama movies like Sepi & Cinta.. being a fan of those movies, i became excited to watch Setem.. Luckily i accepted the invitation because it was really fantastic..!!

Yeah, it really was.. something new & refreshing in the local movie scene.. kita biasa tgk kan hollywood movie yg mmng slalu sgt ada elemen2 kebetulan or coincidences.. cite melayu pun bnyk jgk try create this element of coincidences, tp selalunya tak jadik.. or obviously illogical.. but this movie made it work!! Can u imagine a single stamp can bring a dozen of people together by the most bizarre ways?? Well, that really happened in Setem.. of course, some of the coincidences tu mmng rs mcm x logik langsung kan, tp elemen tu la intipati penting filem ni, and somehow they made it look real..

Orang Indon - Isma Yusoof (Aryanto) & Harun Salim Bachik (Marcello)

The story was about this historic stamp, said to be worth 4 million ringgit yg menjadi rebutan ramai pihak.. and bukan setakat mereka2 ni nak mencurik setem ni, along the process ramai pulak yg terlibat termasuklah sorg pendatang asing, one blind guy & her sister yg langsung x tahu menahu apa2 bout the stamp, geng samseng yg tercurik dgr bout the rompakan plan dan sebagainya.. simple aje citenye, tp olahan & garapan skrip & direction was really awesome.. mmng sgt smooth & lancar.. cite ni pun very fast paced.. not 1 single moment can make you fall asleep..

Mangsa keadaan - Vanida Imran (Alliya) & Que Haidar (Iskandar)

And the perfect ensemble menguatkan lagi filem ni.. semua cast did a very good job.. Rashidi Ishak & Afdlin Shauki selaku teraju utama seemed like an odd couple, but actually they had a great chemistry together.. Vanida Imran & Que Haidar, as always never failed to deliver where in this movie, bothe portrayed subtle characters.. Sathia & Indi Nadarajah as well as Isma Yusoff and Harun Salim Bachik as orang Indon provided the non-stoppable laughters.. Geng2 gangter - Bront Palarae, Corrie Lee, Kin Wah were pretty convincing.. the supporting casts yg terdiri drp Azwan Ali, Diana Danielle, Chelsia Ng, Kanchana Devi, Dato' Aziz Sattar melengkapkan the list of the impressive cast.

I was the director for this event.. so for it to go successfully smooth & happening, it was such relieving and satisfying.. i had only a short period of time to handle this will very small crew & budget, but we managed to pull it off amazingly.. thanks to my ppl who managed to get a lot of sponsors within a short time.. thnx to all my crew for their hard work & dedication in making this event a success..!

Went to this concert with Ess Heavenpray.. it was a last minute plan.. and i'm glad we made it.. coz it was an awesome show! Despite the lack of big names, the show ended up being a good one.. all of the artistes involved (Mila, Atilia, Adibah Noor, Kaza, Acong Sweetchild, Kelvin Lau, Iqwal, Andy Flop Poppy and Que Haidar as the narrator) gave inspiring performances backed up by good musical arrangements.. so props to the musical director..

Anyway, here are some photos i took backstage with Mila.. she got dressed up very early coz she was the opening act.. For the opening, she sang 4 disco tunes including Mat Disko and Kulit, and then another song - Merisik Khabar.. that was a goosebump performance there! And for the finale, she was joined by all artistes singing Salam Terakhir.

Overall, it was a simple but a really enjoyable show.. i didn't expect much coz the concert wasn't given much promotion in the media.. prbbly due to the lack of big names like Siti Nurhaliza or Mawi.. that's a shame coz even without them, this concert is still a success in terms of the performances.. too bad the crowd turnup wasn't..

Bronze je pun.. :p Tapi takpe, i'm still proud of it. Prbbly my biggest achievement di arena pebowlingan.. Actually dah biasa menang pun before this, but this one is prbbly the biggest event yg aku penah join.. And dpt medal pulak tu.. so bangga la jgk. :p

So ni sebenarnya medal utk kejohanan sukan staff held at Malaysian Spanish Institute kat Kulim, Kedah for the last 1 week since 19/5.. seminggu beb berkampung kat sana.. memang seronok.. so mcm biasa la, aku wakil UniKL City Campus in Bowling Event - Kateori Team & Double. Yg bronze medal ni aku menang utk team event. Me & my captain scored the highest for our team.. Sayang sgt sbb yg lagi 2 org x brp perform mcm biasa. Kalau tidak, boleh kot challenge the top 2 teams.. Utk double event plak, me & my captain teamed up.. we were in the top 3 for the 1st 2 games.. sekali last 2 games captain aku plak drop.. terus kitorg terkeluar drp top 3.. huhu.. tapi takpelah, it happens in bowling.. kitorg dah cuba sebaik mungkin..

Oklah, nanti2 aku sambung story pasal kejohanan ni bila dpt gambar.. nak gi EP jap lagi. Dah lama x menjengah EP tu. Ciow. =)

Day 2

10.45 am – Selesai turun dr ladang teh tu Sg Palas.. then singgah kat kedai2 tepi jalan beli sayur2an lagi.

Next stop, Butterfly Farm.

Sangat best ambik2 gambar dgn butterflies yg sgt jinak2 belaka.

12.00 pm – Dah abis sesi beramah mesra bersama rama2, kitorg shoot ke Kea Farm plak.
Kea Farm tu ladang strawberri. So kalau nk borong strawberi kat sini la.

Ni mop tgh tawar menawar ngan amoi ni. Sampai tegagap2 amoi ni.
kedek... tedek.. kedet.. susah btol nak sebut kedekut..
abis kena gelak ngan kitorg semua..

01.00 pm - singgah plak kat Cactus farm & bunga2an..

This pic was yesterday.. finally dpt gak ambik gmbr dgn idola boling ku ini.. hehe.. actually b4 this dah penah jmpa dia & tgk dia training kat EP.. tp segan nak ambik gambo.. and biasanya diorg training ptg on weekdays, so evertime i'm there at EP slalunya sorg2 so xde org nak tolong ambikkan gambo.. so yesterday, kebetulan gi antar bola kat Apis utk dia plug, Shalin pun gi kedai Apis nak buat bola dia.. so dpt le snap gambo ngan Shalin.. Apis yg tolong ambikkan.. tq Apis!

Aku lepas balik drp sukan inter-campus next week, nak start belajar main hook sbb dah fed-up main spinner.. so si Apis ni reccommend aku belajar ngan Shalin.. gile hape.. aku dah le xde basic hook.. maunye aku kena bamboo aje ngan Shalin tu.. huhu.. aku dgr Shalin mengajar pun garang.. takut aku nak berguru ngan dia.. tgk lah dulu.. aku nk tgk dulu mcm mana balingan aku.. kalau aku rasa perlu coaching, baru aku decide nak berguru ngan sape.. =)

Day 2

07.30 am – bersiap sedia utk memulakan hari ke2.
brekpes nasik lemak & meehun goring

Ni kat bwh apartment sebelum grk ke destinasi seterusnya.

Sejuk di pagi hari.

08.10 am – perjalanan hari ke2 bermula. Mula2 ingat nak terus ke ladang teh, skali jam ya amat. So kitorg melencong ke kedai2 bunga.
09.30 am – gi Sg Palas tea plantation. Ada BOH Tea centre kat sini..

Kat dalam tmpt diorg proses teh.

Pastu kitorg lepak minuh teh boh. Masa ni mmng sgt berangin, pastu hujan renyai2 sikit.
Sgt best & nyamannya la waktu nih.

I had BOH hot chololate mint flavoured tea with chicken + mushroom pie. superb!

Trip To Cameron Highlands (part 1)

2 & 3 May 2009

Rentetan perjalanan trip BDN ke Cameon Highlands.

Day 1

07.15 am - morp & cik bintang 1st skali smpai kat RnR Sg Buloh. Korg mmng janji melayu!

07.40 am - org terakhir smpai. sape ntah le.. hehe.
sembang2, minum pagi, rangka perjalanan & juga sesi suai kenal..
kali ni ada miey_z & wife yg br festaim join gath bdn..
08.10 am – gerak dr Sg Buloh.

10.30 am – sampai kat Lata Iskandar. Lepak jap ambik2 gambar & makan goreng pisang.

11.15 am – singgah kat Bee Farm.

Dekat Bee Farm tu ada kebun bunga matahari & aku sungguh jakun festaim tgk bunga sunflower scr live.

Dah dekat sama besar dah bunga ni ngan kepala aku.

Kebun strawberi pun ada gak kat situ.

11.45 am – singgah kat Cameron Valley plak. Tea break kat sini sambil menghirup udara segar.

12.30 pm – sampai kat apartmen Desa Anthurium.
Jmpa Lea & kawannya serta Amin kat sini.

Lunch taim.

Kelaparan ya amat dah masa ni. Mcm lalat jumpa makanan.

03.00 pm – meneruskan perjalanan ke strawberry farm yg aku x ingat apa ntah nama tempt dia.

Destinasi yg seterusnya adalah strawberry farm jgk.

Kat sini best makan strawberry cicah ngan krim & coklat. marvellous!!

Pastu gerak gi pasar malam plak utk membeli belah sayur2an, buah2an & sbgnya.

Antara hasil pembelian dari pasar malam.

07.30 pm – sampai rumah.. Masing dah kelaparan tahap melampau dah.
Sbb penat berjalan2 kat pasar malam tu, pastu menapak ke tempat parking lagi.

Dah abis makan, lepak chill smbil tgk tv tukar2 channle bola MU vs Boro, AF & AIM before we call it a day.

OIAM 3 Top 6

Tomok

Tomok impressed us all once again.. i don't think that he's an amazing or a fantastic singer with incredible vocal chops, but musically he's a very talented & creative guy.. he kept us wanting for more.. he always came up with something different & surprising.. he has an ordinary voice, but his performance & musical intelligence made a huge difference..

Amylea

Amylea proved once again that she's not only a fantastic vocalist, but she's also a remarkable musician.. she took every single song making it her own.. and that's not an easy thing to do.. but somehow, she make it work everytime.. i hope the fans keep her until the finale.. i would love to see her with Tomok in the finale..

Esther

Esther to me is a very good singer.. she's a performer for sure, but i don't think her vocal is distinct enough.. and she's very confusing to me.. last night she did a caberet performance.. last week she did a pop ballad.. the previous week she did broadway.. she claimed herself as a modern blues singer, but she only showed only a glimpse of that in the earlier rounds.. and she was never critisized for that.. i don't want to see her in the final please! if she does make it to the finals, then i hope it's a 3 way race with Amylea & Tomok coz the latter 2 are more deserving the spot than Esther.. Esther to me is way too overexaggerated!

Nine

Nine has a wonderful tone to his voice.. the problem with Nine is he's not that musically inclined.. he never brought anything new or different to a song.. his performance have always been predictable.. last night, he tried to prove that he can hit those high notes by stretching his vocals more.. he deserves some credit for that, but overall it was just another average performance from Nine..

Aweera

I just can't stand Aweera.. he has an amazing vocal range, but did not put them in good use.. great vocal potential, but that's just it.. he brought nothing interesting to the table.. he never did anything cool to a song.. it's just the same every single time.. clearly, he's just a singer, not a musician..

Simon

Simon has the same problem as Nine & Aweera.. amazing vocal potential, but lack the musicality.. every song seems the same.. nothing new, nothing different, and no surprising element at all.. very disappointing coz Simon has a very nice tone which is very in right now.. but again, lack the musical intelligence..

The first 3 performers - Tomok, Amylea & Esther are clearly in the league of their own.. so in the few coming weeks, it really has to be Simon, Aweera & Nine packing their bags out of the competition.. if it's not them, then it's a huge mistake.. Last night' elimination was a mistake already when Rizu was voted out instead of these 3.. so i hope it's these guys turn next.. they should have a 3 finalists this season, coz they really deserved it.

This is actually a delayed posting.. we went to KJ last week which was my 1st time there.. there were like 15 of us and it cost us almost 500 bucks.. but man, it's totally worth it.. that's my meal up there.. it's called mixed grill and it has chicken, beef, lamb, duck, sausage etc etc for rm35.. some other marvelous dishes ordered by my friends...

Akademi Fantasia 7 - Week 2

Akim - Satu + Buronan Cinta. I think he sang well. I liked his tone. Tapi movements dia ms lagu rancak tu mmng cacat aa.

Rubisa - Gagap + Dingin. B4 this, aku mmng x favour langsung si Rubisa nih. But tonight, i just realised that she does hv a nice tone. Cuma she tends to go off bila shoot for the high notes.

Qhaud - Bila Nak Saksi + Laguku Untukmu. I thought he did good. Far better than last weeklah esp. in terms of vocals.

Aishah - Coba + Gila. Aku x bape suka dia nynyi lagu2 ni just becoz it's not her style. But still, she did a decent job. Just taim lagu Gila, dia nye moves agak kaku sikit.

Obri - Akan Tiba - Ada Untukmu. He looks promising ms dlm diari. Tp kat konsert, mmng out lah. Dia ni mmng x leh nak tolong lg dah aku rasa. Talent dia just so-so je. Sia2 je usaha nak transform Obri nih.

Zizi - Sembilu + Wonder Woman. Another suam2 kuku nye performance. I love Zizi's husky tone, but that's just about it. Dia ni x creative langsung. Cuba la ubah sikit lenggok lagu & style nynyi tu. Ni sama je ngan lagu asal.

Sidi - Selamat Ulang Tahun Sayang + Kukoo. Sama la problem ngan Zizi. Tone suare meletop, performance lintang pukang. Tempo ape semua mmng out gile masa lagu Kukoo. Dia ni x commercial, so better la out awal2.

Adila - Merawat Luka Terpendam + Asyik. I thought she did a nice job. Marked improvements from last week. She does not deserved to be eliminated tonight coz there were many more contestants who did worse than Adila.

Aril - Benar Benar + Robot. Mamat ni over la.. Bakat xde la hebat sgt. Tone dia ok laa not bad.. tp vocal control out. Lagu slow, sumbang mambang dia nyny. Padahal lagu Adam je, bkn lagu Anuar Zain pun. Taim lagi Robot ok la, tp overdo la plak.

Rini - Aku Sindarela + Kiblatku. With her so-so talent, mmng x leh nak buat apa dahla ngan Rini nih.. sama mcm Obri.

Yazid - Lelaki Ini + Fikirlah. Suara sedap, tp control out habis. Sumbang mambang taim lagu slow. Lagu fast, gile over bersepah2.. amateur amatlah mamat ni. Bnyk nak kena buat to transform si Yazid nih. Sgt raw lah talent dia.

Claudia - Wanita + Ku Mahu. Best of the girls. Dia nynyi semua ok mlm ni, cuma projection kena lebih lagi la.. kadang2 cam tenggelam sikit.. this time bunyik2 dayang tu dah kurang, tp still ada sket2..

Hafiz - Cinta Ini Membunuhku+ Toyol. It's now official that i now support Hafiz. He's really good! Dia cam natural je bila perform.. vocal pun not bad. Hopefully dia leh sustain la.. risau plak jadik cam Heliza, awal2 konsert meletop, lama2 lemau..

Isma - Jat Da Da Da + Hello. I agree 100% dgn Adlin. 1st song, cam professional. 2nd song cam out of place. Dia nye voice projection kena work out more laa.. kadang2 cam tenggelam.

Overall, konsert ni belum mampu tuk buka mata penonton that this is the best crop of student.. some of them mmng sgt2 amateur.. Adila leaving tonight was really wrong.. but it's the ppl's choice.. not a big lost, but there are few others deserved to leave more..

One In A Million 3
Top 8

Tomok - Gantung. It was just a so-so performance. Vocally it was ok, but overall it wasn't exciting like his previous ones.

Amylea - I'm Yours. What an amazing job. Just showcased her intelligence not only vocally, but also musically. She should've been given the immunity.

Aweera - Tiada Lagi. While his voice was rather ok this time, it was so predicatable. No originality at all.

Rizu - Mercy. The verse was horrible. He picked up at the chorus. But like Syafinaz, i was left baffled by the performance. I hated his facial expressions.

Simon - When You're Gone. Another predictable performance. While i like his husky tone, the performance was so forgettable.

Fify - Pria Terhebat. Fify is like the female version of Aweera. Her high pitched vocals sometimes is unbearable to the ears. She needs to tone it down a bit sometimes. At this point, we already know she can belt. Try something new pls. I'm getting bored of her.

Nine - Karma. I quite like his performance. It was pleasant, now 'wow' though.

Esther - Won't Go Home Without You. I hated it! The judges loved it tho'. I thought the performance wasn't true to Esther's genre which is jazz/blues. This week was more to broadway / threatrical kinda performance. And if u listened carefully to her vocals, it sounds very screechy on the high notes. But it was saved by he over-the-top showmanship.

Overall, it was a pretty good show. This crop of contestants are really good. Silly song choices could really pun them in trouble. Hopefully Amylea is safe next week. Coz i really hope she takes it all.

American Idol 8 : Top 11

Just a simple delayed review.. For me, best of the night for top 11 is clearly Matt Giraud.. definitely deserved the pimp spot.. i loved the verse more than i did the chorus.. but overall, amazing performance..

Another one that i thought was outstanding is Megan Joy.. This week's performance was her best thus far.. her sound has a little cross between Duffy + Amy Whinehouse which i love.. coz i'm drawn into this neo-soul kinda sound..

Then we have Kris Allen.. i agreed with simon, he just established himself as one of the front runner in this competition.. he has a very nice tone to carry off a ballad very well..

Others that i thought did good but i wasn't jumping off my seat like the above 3 did were Anoop Desai, Adam Lambery & Danny Gokey..

The boring ones were Allison Iraheta & Lil Rounds (both gave flawless vocals but the perforances were fogettable), and Scott McIntyre (as always)..

Worse of the night has got to be Alexis Grace & Michael Sarver.. it was so disappointing coz they got 2 of my favourite songs.. Alexis's phrasing was weird.. it was a boring performance unlike Brooke's version last season.. And so does Michael's.. he slowed down the tempo a bit & it lessen the essence of the song..

AF7 : Satu Transformasi?

Yeah.. i know it's been late to review the 1st concert.. but nevertheless i still want to give my oppinion on it.. my blog became big becoz of AF, so why not continue blogging bout it aigght?? Anyway, the first concert aritu, aku x sempat pun nak tgk live.. sbbnye ada boling t'ment.. even if i don't hv the t'ment pun, i would prbbly choose to watch the MU-Liv match which ends in the team i support being trashed at their home ground!! urggh.. what the f*ck?!!

Back to AF.. what i can say after watching the repeat show is that the kids were far from being transformed.. i was not impressed at all.. tapi i'm a bit confused coz the judges rata2nya bagi komen pujian melambung.. i don't think this 1st concert was the best AF has ever had mcm yg the judges wanted us tp believe.. the best 1st concert ever is still AF2..

Oklah here is a bit of my evaluation of the kids..

Those who have potential to be transformed

Aishah : i love her the most from the 1st concert. She's unique, tone sedap, subtle yet captivating performance. This girl has potential. We haven't seen her full range yet, so i'm anxiously waiting for her performance 2mrw.
Hafiz : performance yg selamba & tone suara pun sweet. I'm liking him the most of all boys.

Claudia : i would hv root for her if she's not a clone of Dayang.. she's too similar.. the production needs to give her songs that can differentiate her from Dayang.. or else, she hv no place in the industry..
Akim : I think he has the best male tone. His prev performance nmpk mcm x best becoz of the song. But personally, i actually liked it.
Yazid : tone best, but needs to work on stretching his range. And also his image too..

Isma : komen sama mcm Yazid.
Qhaud : Qhaud hv massive vocal potential but wasn't utilised well in the 1st concert..

So-so talents

Zizi : i loved her husky tone. But i was turned off by her messy performance last week.. i couldn't even hear her tone coz she was moving like crazy.. i was disappointed coz i thought she had potential.. clearly i was wrong.

Aril : like Zizi's, i hated Aril's exaggerated performance.. and i think his vocal tone tu biasa2 je lah..

Rubisa : i never liked Rubisa since MyStarz & OIAM.. i think her tone biasa2 je.. yes she can nynyi & hit those high notes, but i don't think she has the package to make it..

There's nothing you can do with these kids

Adila : Too ordinary.. that's why she didn't make it big in the music industry in the 1st place..
Rini : I don't understand her voice.. her voice is so week, i don't think she deserves to be in the top14..
Sidi : right now, i don't even remember how Sidi sounds like.. therefore, no comments.. huhu
Obri : he was a trainwreck last week.. his vocal control was completely off.. masa dia tarik tu, aduss.. rasa cam nak berdarah je telinga..

So that's it.. just a simple review.. i can't wait for tomorrow's show.. the medley songs are quite interesting.. we'll see how it goes & see if the students can raise the bar.

American Idol Season 8 - Top 13
Songs of Michael Jackson

Lil Rounds – The Way You Make Me Feel. First thing, I agree with Simon, shiteous outfit. I’ve been saying this again & again, I don’t understand all the hype about her. Last night’s performance just proved me that. Perfect vocals, but not outstanding at all.

Scott MacIntyre – I never liked this guy.. so ordinary vocals.. If he’s not blind, he would never get the chance to be there... with limited vocal capabilities, he’ll be out of depth very soon.

Danny Gokey – wow... that was an amazing vocal performance... I tried to not like it coz I’m not liking him... but oh boy, he nailed it... but the moves were horrendous!

Michael Sarver – You Are Not Alone. I thought he could never do anything better than last week’s, but surprisingly he did very well last night... it was a delightful vocal performance.

Jasmine Murray – I’ll Be There. So predictable song choice. And she didn’t add anything new to it. There were lots of sharp & flat notes throughout the performance. Didn’t like it at all.

Kris Allen – Remember The Time. He’s really is an entertainer huh?? Really comfortable & natural on-stage... can’t say so much of his vocals tho’... he should choose songs that really showcase more of his vocals next time...

Allison Iraheta – Give It to Me. Solid vocal performance... she’s an amazing vocalist... but I thought the song is boring, and so was her performance...

Anoop Desai – Beat It. The judges didn’t like it but I don’t think it was that bad. But yeah, it wasn’t great. But what do u expect? He’s not a great vocalist to begin with. He’s a great performer yes. But he didn’t show that side either in last night’s performance.

Jorge Nunez – It wasn’t the perfect song choice for him. He did ok, but could definitely do better with power ballad kinda song where he really shines.

Megan Joy – Rockin’ Robin. This is the first time I liked Megan’s performance. I don’t know the song, but she made it look like it’s her song which is very good. But like always, lotsa tempo & pitch problems.

Adam Lambert – Black or White. This guy has an extraordinary gift. Amazing vocal chops. Agree with Simon, he’s in a total different league. There were moments where he went so over the top, but that’s what we like about him & will carry him to the finals! Adam Lambert for American Idol!!!

Matt Giraud – Human Nature. A very artistic performance by Matt & I love it. There were some off notes when he did the riffs, but overall it was excellent!

Alexis Grace – Dirty Diana. This girl can blow. I didn’t realize she has an amazing range. She shouted a bit but still it’s a pretty darn good performance. Alexis may replace Allison as my favourite female contestant.

American Idol Season 8 is On!

I hope it's still not too late for me to blog on the season 8 of American Idol huh?! So now that we're down to the final 13, i'll do a quick recap on how it went down with all of the top 36 contestants aigghtt!!

Those Who Deserved The Final 13 Spot

Danny Gokey - i initially liked him.. he has a nice tone to his voice.. i was a fan until the 1st top 36 results show when he showed no mercy to Tatiana.. that was a turn-off for me.. not a fan since.
Alexis Grace - she has a natural stage presence, great vocals & i believe is the dark horse of the competition.
Adam Lambert - he's my favourite male contestant. He was heavily pimped & deservedly so.. his performance of Satisfaction was brilliant, he showed his amazing range & stage-presence.
Allison Iraheta - my favourite female in the final 13. I love the tone to her voice.
Lil' Rounds - The 3rd most pimped contestant which i don't understand why. To me she's just another typical black female singer. I found nothing special about her. But she's a brilliant singer i admit, but that's just it. Nothing special.
Jorge Nunez - i like his vocals & i hope he works more on his stage presence.. has great potential.. just needs to work more on his charisma..
Matt Giraud - amazing & distinct vocalist here, but needs to be really careful in finding the right song.
Anoop Desai - not that brilliant a vocalist, but he has the persona & stage presence.. with the right songs, he could go far.

The 5 Who Should NOT Have Made It

Michael Sarver - he made it this far not becoz of his performance, but becoz of his personality.. should not have been in the finals..
Kris Allen - nothing much to comment about.. his performance of Man In The Mirror was entertaining.. but doesn't showcase that much of his true capability..
Scott MacIntyre - i hope he leaves the competition soon.. too plain & boring for me.
Megan Corkery - i just don't understad how she made it thru. There are more fine vocalists than her (namely Felicia Barton, Jesse Langseth and even Tatiana!). Yes she's unique, but her vocals are very weak..
Jasmine Murray - she has a nice tone, but i don't think her vocals are mature enough. for the competition.. not just yet..

The 5 Who SHOULD Have Made It

Tatiana Del Toro - I LOVE TATIANA!! She fun!! Yes she's a drama queen, but that's what makes her interesting to watch.. one moment she's full of craziness, one moment she's a trainwreck.. and don't deny that she CAN SING! i was extremely disappointed that she didn't make it to the final round.. she would've made an interesting show.. shame on you judges!
Felicia Barton - she is an excellent vocalist! and she has a unique tone.. i don't understand why she didn't make the final 36 in the 1st place.. and she really deserved to been in the wild card show..
Kristen McNamara - she has fantastic vocal chops.. but she chose a song that doesn't really showcase her amazing vocal range..
Ju'not Joyner - another wrong song choice.. the song & arrangement was just plain.. yes he made it his own, but it didn't really showcase how fantastic his vocals are..
Ricky Braddy- i think he is the best singer in the entire competition! It's a shame that he didn't get enough air time.. that's the only reason he didn't get thru..

Those Who Could've Done Better

Von Smith - the 1st performance was brilliant, but the wild card performance wasn't. Too bad.. he really needs to learn how to control his vocals.
Jesse Langseth - unique vocals, and should've replaced Megan for that quirky spot, but her performance wasn't that great either.
Arianna Afsar - the song she picked was too old for her.
Jacki Tohn - a natural on stage, but the performance doesn't showcase her vocals.
Mishavonna Henson - fantastic singer, wrong song choice.. doesn't show any of her personality..
Taylor Vaifanua - another wrong song choice, she only sang in a few note range which is very disappointing.
Brent Keith - average country performance, not outstanding at all with his experience and all.
Kai Kalama - old fashioned performance, just an average vocal performance.
Nathaniel Marshall - totally wrong song choice. The song is just not suitable for a vocal competition.
Jeanine who?? - i don't think she's a bad singer, she just lacks screentime and she didn't make the most of it with her performance. Too bad.

Those Who Are Not Worth Mentioning

Alex Wagner - he has the voice, just not right for the competition.
Nick Mitchell aka Normund Gentle - good vocalist, not a serious contender. Why waste so much time on him in the first place?!
Stevie Wright - doesn't even deserve the top 36 spot.
Anne-Marie Boskovich - doesn't have that big voice to pull of an Aretha song.
Kendall Beard - just an average country singer.
Casey Carlson - complete package but stupid song choice.
Stephen Fowler - should'nt been given the chance to compete in the top 36 in the 1st place after messing up with the lyrics for so many times.
The other Matt something - zzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

All in all, i'm not so crazy of the talents this year. I hope Adam Lambert takes it all this time. He's the only one i can see becoming the next American Idol & can really sell. Peace out! =)

OIAM 3 Top 11

Amylea - Best Performer of the night!

Last Friday, i went to see OIAM 3 Top 11 show live at Sri Pentas.. just like the previous week.. the 1st time i went to see the top 12, i was generally impressed with all of the contestants.. i haven't had the chance to watch any of the auditions and central elimination, so the top 12 show was my 1st time watching them perform.. and i was extremely excited by the fact that all of them can sing very well, and there are diversity in talents, muzic concept & image.. so i couldn't wait to see what they have to offer in the 2nd week of the show.. but oh boy, how i was dissappointed!

Before the performances, they did the elimination 1st.. i was shocked that Amylea & Pija was in the bottom 3 with Ayu.. coz the 2 of them were among the best last week.. and i thought Ayu did pretty well too with Matahariku.. and i liked her personality & the concept of music she's into.. too bad we couldn't see more of her.

Now back to this week's performances. Esther sang a Kerispatih song. I likef her more this week than last week's. I didn't think she deserved last week's immunity, it should've gone too Pija. Anyways, i thought Esther fair better this week, just that i hated the music arrangements. She tried so much to improvise that it's overdone. Han sang Getaran Jiwa. I didn't like her last week, i didn't like her more this week. It was way too old fashioned. And i don't see where Han fits in the music industry. Nine sang an old song which i don't know the title and he failed miserably. Last week was horrible enough, this week was even worse. Gosh, i don't know why Syafinaz is such a fan.

Anith sang Rindu by Hetty Koes Endang. She sang pretty well. But she didn't stand out. I wished she could've sticked to the pop rock music like last week coz i really like her singing that kind of genre. Simon sang Knocked on Heaven's Door. Simon has a nice tone, and he sings well, just like last week. But he's just so normal to me. Nothing extraordinary. Aweera did She's Gone - one of my favourite song. I thought he was gonna nail it with his amazing vocal range, but he screwd big time! It was so overdone, the screaming was too overdose.. and what's up with the bending at the end?? Drama!! He's officially my least favourite contestant this year. Amylea sang her original composition - Akan Tiba. And she sang it gracefully. Just nice. Not overdone, very subtle, yet captivating. Totally deserved the immunity.

Then we have Pija singing Since You Been Gone. Last week she was marvellous, this week she fell short.. don't know what went wrong, they say she's sick.. she missed a couple of high notes and her singing this week was very choppy. Hopefully she did enough to survive next week's elimination coz she has so much to offer. Tomok sang Rahsia Pohon Cemara. I thought he did well. I also liked the new arrangement. Yes, it was a bit messy but overall it worked for me. I don't understand how he managed to loose his 'sengau', but Tomok seem to improve a lot. Still not a fan tho'. Rizu sang My Way. I thought he sang it nicely. Yes, it did seem lil' bit overdone, but i still liked it. Afterall, he have that big voice, just maximise the use of it boy! Fify was the last contestant singing Tak Tercapai Akalmu. One of my least favourite contestant. She sang ok this week. In fact not bad at all. I just don't like her tone that's all.

So who's gonna be eliminated next week? I hope it's Aweera.
