All About Mila:

And HISTORY is created..
MILA - the 1st female Akademi Fantasia (5) Champion !!


So last night, Akademi Fantasia season 5 closed it's curtain.. and i'm proud to say, i'm very very satisfied with the outcome.. this is the 2nd time that my choice & favourite contestant won the title (after Zahid of AF2).. and yg lebih bermakna, Mila created history by becoming the 1st ever female champion.. yeayy..!! and deservingly so.. memang Mila peserta yg paling layak dinobatkan sebagai Juara A5..

AF5 kali ni started really slow.. 1st time aku tgk konsert minggu pertama, i gave no hope at all.. i thought this batch of contestant was the worse ever produced by AF.. and i never thought i would have a favourite.. but throughout the weeks, i actually did.. and it's none other than the champion, who is also org kampung aku [Teluk Kumbar], Mila..!!!

As written in my previous entry, in the 1st two concerts, aku mmng x berkenan dgn si Mila ni.. langsung..!! not that i didn't like her attitude [i'm not a Diari addict], but it's how she carried the songs.. she can do a whole lot better than what she did, but she just gave mediocre performances yg malas of 2 easy songs.. kalau stakat performance mcm tu, baik balik nynyi kat lounge je.. a total waste of time and aku rasa mmng dia yg patut dikeluarkan.. but somehow, out of the blue she bounced in the 3rd concert, and totally gained respect from critiques at the 4th concert singing Benci Tapi Rindu.. this is where i started liking Mila, and she's the reason i continued watching AF.. from this point on, she continued to wow the crowd and showed that she's a versatile performer.. she began to give a string of great performances & people started to like Mila.. altho at almost every concert she will start at the bottom of the chart, but her consistent performances managed to convince the voters to vote for her up to week finale.. amazing right? who would ever thought, the girl who was supposed to be eliminated at the 1st concert [Zana pulled out thus saving Mila from getting the boot], would emerge as the fan favourite and eventually win it all.. it's pretty impressive considering the fact that kebanyakan pengundi rancangan realiti kat m'sia ni adalah wanita, and it's hard for girls to vote for girls.. girls [who constitute most of the voters] will most likely choose the opposite sex, those who have the looks & sex appeal as demonstrated by all previous winners.. in ths case, Ebi has the upper hand, and i too thought Ebi would win... it really seems impossible for a girl to break this monopoly.. coz it will really need someone who really have talents, personality & the likable factor for a girl to win this.. and Mila proved that it's not impossible by winning the title..!!!

People have come up to me & say, kalau nak bandingkan Mila dgn peserta2 from previous seasons, bnyk lagi yg lebih bagus.. yes, i do admit that.. just to name a few, Idayu, Farhan & Velvet are better singers than Mila.. but why Mila..? let's put it this way, Mila just happens to be at the right place at the right time.. and u need more that just singing chops to win this & to convince people to vote.. she has what the others don't have to win the title as champion of Akademi Fantasia.. she have that 'it' factor.. or 'aura' if u can say so.. she can sing, and she's also likable.. she's adorable, humble, she have the charisma when performing, and yet she seems so humble.. she's like this gem waiting to be polished.. given the time, she can really make it big in this industry.. good luck to Mila.. all the best..!!

P/S: Looks like my AFundi during the finale concert didn't go to waste after all..!!
