My schedule were pretty bz these few days (again & again, haha..) but no matter how bz i am, i still need to spend some time for the hip & happening events.. few weeks ago, me and a couple of friends went to see AIM 2005 live at PWTC.. it wasn't planned that way.. initially, we only planned to watch the red carpet session and the live telecast of the show over the big screen outside PWTC.. bcoz that afternoon, we had some activities in KL.. and at midnight, a friend invited us to a Motorola Party at Liquid.. so instead of going back home to Shah Alam to watch the show, we decided to watch the artistes roll over the red carpet and the telecast outside the auditorium.. but it turns out that there were no big screen like previous years.. becoz there were so many things going on at pwtc.. so we sorta like panicked a lil' bit.. coz it's already 8 pm.. and if we were to drive back home to shah alam to watch it on TV, we would definitely miss the early part of the show.. and it's gonna be Tiara Jacquelina performing Asmaradana.. nope.. that's not gonna happen.. luckily, my friend met a friend of his who is one of the Ning.clix who offered us tickets to buy but with discounts of course.. and there we were sitting in the audience watch AIM 2005..!! haha..

Talking about the show that night, it was a 'Wow' for Tiara's opening number..!! she really made all the jaws dropped.. a very brave change by a non-singer.. definitely amazing! however, i'm so not satisfied with the Medley sung by Dina, Farah, Zahid and Jac.. while Dina was mesmerizing with Menyemai Cinta Bersamamu, Farah's rendition of Selagi Ada.. is less than perfect... the song doesn't suit her well.. she looks struggling all the way.. they should've picked a better song for her.. and poor Zahid, they gave him only the verse part of Keabadian Cinta and the rest to Jac.. with only a minor part, he's not able to showcase his vocal abilities as what i had expected.. and Jac, she definitely has a powerful voice.. but right after she forgot the lyrics to the song, her spirit & energy seems to go down along with vocals.. poor Jac..
Promising artistes - Jac, Zahid, Farah & Dina
Ning's performance were good but not that great.. the song is beautiful but her vocals were not up to par these days.. however, the outfit were drop-dead gorgeous! this lady really knows how to dress like a million dollar.. and Siti, although i don't like her, i have to give her credits for her closing performance.. i have to say it's an entertaining performance like non-other performances she gave before..
Talking about the results, there were some results that i'm so happy of & some that made me pissed off.. i'm so happy that Ning & Spider won the top awards (instead of Siti of course.. haha!).. Awan Yg Terpilu definitely deserves the Best Song award and her album is without doubt the best Pop album of the year.. i won't comment on Spider's win coz i haven't heard the album yet but judging from their catchy and innovative singles, i suppose it propbably is a good album.. but above all results, i'm so dissappointed that the best female vocalist remains with Siti even after 7 years! My God, when is her era going to end??!! I'm hoping for Jac to beat her the next time around.. in the best new artiste category, it's definitely a tough fight between Vince and Waheeda.. but i'd be much more happier if Waheeda won.. but Disagree's won for Best New English Artiste should not be argued.. and in the Most Promising Artiste category, Farah is a deserving winner.. actually i don't mind if the winner is Zahid (who's the favourite to win) or Farah coz both of them deserves the title..

Overall, AIM 2005 was just okay for me.. not that exciting.. the performances were also so-so.. i'm hoping for a year where Siti's going to lose to somebody else in the vocal category.. only then i'll be totally satisfied with AIM.. haha!!! Anyhow, have a look at these two ladies who not only got the most attention on the red carpet due to their sexiness, but look carefully at the materials of their dress.. identical isn't it..??!! go figure..!
